Paired Petals

Module: Atelier Flower (DJ31035)
Project Brief
Design a product or experience simply relating to the word ‘flower’. In companies, establish shared values yet also create a hybrid, combining your individual qualities. Together you will design, conceive, sketch, prototype and refine – a working physical digital object. Its interaction should be through Arduino or Raspberry Pi and could be quite simple but must be well-crafted.
My Role
Throughout this project I was heavily involved in most areas of the project's development. Specifically, I was responsible for the Arduino coding and wiring, and the integration of components into the physical object. Furthermore I was responsible for the materials and making of the tulip wood Petal frames and MDF floral overlay.

Personal Honours Project
Sep 2025 - May 2026
‘Flow’ is a lamp collection that brings nature indoors. A busy life can make it difficult to get out into nature, this collection brings nature to life inside the home through expressive forms of light and water. Each lamp in the collection is designed to evoke a different element of water, while remaining balanced together. The collection reflects a sense of calm and connection, bringing the fluidity and stillness of water into the home, and encourages users to interact with light, space, and each other. The ‘Flow’ collection explores waterfalls, water ripples, and ice. Three different elements of water are brought to life within three lamps, through individual expressions of form, function, and light.
